Planning professionals can now obtain their continuing education credits by attending our Annual Meeting! The South Carolina Beach Advocates were accredited as approved sponsor of continuing education programs by the SC Planning and Education Advisory Committee (SCPEAC). A certificate for 10 hours of CE credit will be provided at no additional cost to full meeting attendees.
Student research competition: South Carolina students submit 1 page abstracts co-authored with their advisors on their research and its possible implications on coastal management by December 20, 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org. A committee will select one (1) abstract. The student receives a complementary registration to the Annual Meeting. If desired, the student may present a poster during the conference breaks to explain their work and take questions. The poster is not a requirement to enter the competition
Student volunteer opportunities: Up to 3 students may volunteer to assist with conference logistics such as the registration table, AV, lighting, etc. in exchange for a complementary registration. Contact Nicole at email@example.com to sign up as a volunteer. Hurry space is limited!
